Sure, you spend most evenings rewatching last week’s Eastenders and getting your head around Auntie’s worryingly Partridge–esque Football League Show on BBC iPlayer. But it seems you’re not the only one. A new Ofcom report shows a massive 5.2 million punters now use BBC iPlayer. That’s twice the amount compared to last year.

There are two main choices when buying a flat screen high definition television: LCD or plasma. While LCD generally delivers a brighter, livelier image, plasma is often the choice for serious film fans, as it produces deeper, darker blacks, better contrast and more realistic colours and doesn’t suffer from motion blur to the same degree as LCD.
