Apple iLife 09 out now!
January 26, 2009 by Insider Staff · Leave a Comment
Good news folks. Apple has just confirmed that the latest incarnation of its creativity suite – iLife 09 – goes on sale at the Apple Store today!
If you just can’t get enough of the iLife, and we’re not talking Bollinger-quaffing (although we like to do that, too), then get your wallets at the ready, because today is lift-off.
But what’s the big fuss about? Well, aside from being the second biggest announcement after the 17-inch MacBook Pro at MacWorld (yeah, it was pretty poor!), the iLife 09 package includes major updates to iPhoto (with Faces and Places – essentially face detection and geo-tagging), iMovie, GarageBand and more!
Sounds like you’ll need a satnav to get around it? Fear not, Apple’s already throwing out plenty of tutorials about the new software to help you out.
It goes on sale today from £69. Alternatively you could just buy a completely new Mac, as it’ll already be included!
