Q. I find myself taking loads of video on my two-year old phone which is a bit rubbish now. But I’m due an upgrade and want a handset that takes amazing footage. What are the best phones for video that I can play back on my telly or save off to burn onto DVD?

How to geotag your mobile phone photos with location info

Taking snaps on your phone is fine, but other than gawping at them on the screen, do you actually do anything with them? Why not geotag them at the same time, so they’re loaded with the place they were taken, then fling them online so your friends can see where you’ve been?
