The original Rock Band was just the opening act. Now Rock Band 2 is warming up to take to the stage and it wants you to face the crowd too. Yes, the video game where you are the band is all set for an encore, and come September you and your buddies will be picking up a microphone, strapping on a guitar, or settling down behind a drum kit (well, a plastic one) to play along with a huge selection of both classic and new music. Spray-on leather trousers and big hair are entirely optional.
