Let’s face it – while consoles are fun, they’re toys compared to the desktop PC gaming experience. They may let you play most of the latest titles from the comfort of your sofa, but if you really want the best graphics, gameplay and choice then the PC route is the only way to go.

Asus has already succeeded in shaking up the the laptop world with its ultra-cheap, ultra-cheerful Eee PC – and now it’s trying to do the same for desktop PCs. The Eee Box is an incredibly low-priced Windows XP computer designed to tackle the basics.
