Aqua Soundz floating speaker washes up!

We were just thinking that there aren’t enough waterproof, floating speakers around. Thank God then for the Aqua Soundz floating speaker – a waterproof sound box that’ll play all your favourite tunes, including Aqua’s barblie Girl, in your tub.

Just because the Aqua Soundz is waterproof doesn’t mean your iPod is. Luckily it comes with a transmitter unit that hooks up to your music player via a 3.5mm jack, and then sends tunes like Wash the Kasbah to the pool-bound speaker wirelessly! And it’ll work from up to 50 metres away!

The design is such that it’s not limited to floating around with the beach ball or rubber duck in your pool or bath. It has a loop that allows you to hang it up in the shower, for instance, so you can listen to Why does it always rain on me by Travis.

Costing around £40, we don’t expect the audio quality to make us shout “H2Oh my God!”, but at least we got plenty of water-based gags out of it…
