BT eFrame 1000 review
April 13, 2009 by Insider Staff
The plastic frame of the BT eFrame 1000 may not be all to that to behold, but persist with this affordable digital picture frame and you’ll be pleasantly surprised, we guarantee it. Read on to find out why…
Pros
The BT eFrame 1000’s eight-inch screen is excellent. When we loaded up images of loved one when they were asleep, the images were deep, crisp and packing all the colour you could want from a creepy, old night shot. Plus there wasn’t even a hint of reflection. There’s also built-in Wi-Fi so you can transfer snaps wirelessly, but failing that you can transfer pics via a USB stick. Handy. Oh, and it’ll play your music files too. You also get all the usuals: slideshow and remote. But the best bit? It’s cheap!
Cons
That plastic frame makes it feel as cheap as the price. Our advice: don’t get too close. That aside, there’s not much to complain about. If we really had to, the lack of a main menu button prevents using this from being outstanding.
In summary then…
If you can ignore the, ahem, inexpensive finish on the BT eFrame 1000 then you’re in for a treat. This digital picture frame is one of the best around and it’ll save your wallet being rinsed like a washing machine. The awesome colour reproduction, coupled with the built-in Wi-Fi, USB stick compatibility and that great eight-inch screen combine to build a perfect digital picture frame.
