Nokia launches E75; emailers rejoice

Nokia E75The Nokia E75 is here people. Get your emailing thumbs ready and prepare to be contactable by your work in every waking hour, because the E75 is the Finnish mobile phone company’s first phone to come with its brand new email user interface!

So why should we care about the Nokia E75 when we could just go out and get a BlackBerry? Well, firstly, comparing this and a BlackBerry (in looks-wise at least) would be like comparing Brad Pitt and Seth Rogan. The E75’s sexy looks are protected by a sexy slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which can be hidden whenever you’re not emailing.

Talking about the emailing, Nokia’s new email system it puts all your email accounts (including your Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail accounts) in one easy-to-access interface, which also has upgraded personal information management features – the ability to create and respond to meetings, contacts look-up and auto-complete.

With A-GPS, Wi-Fi and HSDPA all present and correct, as well as a 3.2-megapixel camera and N-Gage, the Nokia E75 looks like a great al-rounder, and that email function… well, let’s just say BlackBerry will be having a few uneasy nights!
