Apple to preview iPhone OS 3.0 next week
March 13, 2009 by Insider Staff
iPhone users, stick 17th March in your diaries, because that’s the date that you should get the lowdown what the future holds for your mobile phone. Why? Well, next Tuesday Apple will show off the third major version of the iPhone operating system for the first time.
iPhone OS 3.0 should bring a few nifty new features to the touchscreen device – although we don’t know exactly what those could be. Will Apple add the ability to send MMS messages, or to capture video clips using the iPhone’s camera? Or even update the Safari web browser to support Flash?
We’ll know a lot more next week – so head back here then for the lowdown.
