Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits rocking this summer

March 5, 2009 by Insider Staff

Guitar Hero: Greatest HitsThe Guitar Hero release juggernaut shows no signs of slowing down, with publishers Activision announcing that a “Greatest Hits” edition will be hitting the shops for Xbox 360, PS3, PS2 and Wii this summer.

As the name suggests, the game will bring back some of the top tracks from previous Guitar Hero titles, this time in full band mode with vocals, drums and lead and bass guitar.

48 songs will be back, all taken from original master recordings, among them “Killer Queen” by Queen, “Barracuda” by Heart and “I Love Rock N Roll” by Joan Jett and The Blackhearts.

The game will also add a super-tough “Expert+” difficulty level and new locations based on the natural wonders of the world, including the Grand Canyon and the Amazon.
