Apple Touch Pad concept surfaces!

If you could get Apple to make any product what would it be? How about an Apple Touch Pad – a slick glass tablet, specifically designed for the Mac Mini (but capable of hooking up wirelessly to most Apple products)? Yeah, we like the sound of that too.

Currently just a concept, the Apple Touch Pad (should it be snapped up and mass-produced) could be the final nail in the humble mouse’s coffin. As we said it’ll hook up wirelessly to your Apple device and even double up as a touchscreen keyboard, multitouch trackpad, photo editor and web browser! If there was a better partner for the peripheral-free Mac Mini, we’ve yet to see it.

As we said, it’s just a concept at the moment, but we really like the sound of it. We thought the Asus Eee Keyboard was hit, but this roasts that and burns everything else in its vicinity! Now… let’s get it made!
