HTC Magic: it’s official!

February 18, 2009 by Insider Staff

HTC MagicRecognise the HTC Magic? Reminiscent of a certain T-Mobile G1? It should be, because this is the follow-up to the original Google phone and the UK’s second Android mobile phone. Except this time there’s no T-Mobile about it. This sexy white number is a Vodafone exclusive.

So why should we be interested in the HTC Magic? Well, aside from sporting the supreme Google operating system, it looks more sexy than Angelina Jolie draped on your bed in nothing but a lingerie… sorry, got carried away there. So, it’s sexy. It’s slim too, measuring a mere 13.65mm thin- that’s skinnier than Russell Brand’s trousers! That’s mainly because of the lack of a hardware keyboard.

The magic (ha ha) really happens on the inside of the HTC Magic, where it’s busting out the Adroid again, but this time it includes the tasty Google Cupcake, which allows you to use a touchscreen keypad!

Of course there are all the usual mobile phone bells and whistles: we’re talking 3G, Wi-Fi, a 3.2-megapixel camera. But what you need to know is that this is the Google Phone Mk II. And in our opinion, it’s just magic!
