Fujifilm FinePix S1500 super-zoom unleashed!

“What’s that? The Fujifilm FinePix S1500, you say? Never heard of it!” That sir, is because the Fujifilm FinePix S1500 has only just been announced by the company, and is in fact a brand new super-zoom digital camera. And a very impressive one at that.

You see, the Fujifilm FinePix S1500 has more in common with the Panasonic G1 than any other camera. It’s in that “in between” bracket – not a compact camera, but not a digital SLR either. Perfect for the man making the jump from amateur snapper to pro shooter. That and anyone with small hands.

It’s almost as if Fujifilm has used some warlockery to fit the 12x optical zoom into this camera. It seems too dinky to fit in a zoom of the sort. That said, Fujifilm hasn’t stopped tat that with the Fujifilm FinePix S1500’s features. The company’s also ploughed in a the-megapixel sensor, dual image stabilisation and tracking focus for shaky handed people, like that guy who used to be on Bansai.

WIth a burst mode that fires off two megapixel shots at a rate of 7.5 frames per second, you’ll also be able to capture the fastest of camera dodgers. Now, we’re off to Mo*vida’s to try and snap some celebrity oops moments. Well, we’ve got to make a living…
