Nokia E55 smartphone unveiled!
February 16, 2009 by Insider Staff
More mobile news now, and Nokia’s E55 mobile phone has just been unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona – the home of tapas and an unbelievably amazing football team. Still, now it has something else to show off – the E55 smartphone.
Targeting the BlackBerry Pearl, the E55 claims to be the world’s thinnest smartphone, and while we haven’t been handed the dimensions just yet, we can tell you that the lithe mobile will come with enough functions to keep even SurAlan types happy, including mail, calendar and contacts features.
What else does it boast? Well, you’ll find AGPS, a 3.2-megapixel camera (admittedly that’s not a patch on the new Sony Ericsson Idou’s 12-megapixel offering, but it’ll do), 3.5mm jack, radio, 16GB SD support and HSDPA.
So, all in all, the E55 looks like it’s taking the fight to the BlackBerry. And taking the fight in a very slender case. Who said business was boring?
