LEGO Phone revealed!

A LEGO mobile phone? Whatever next? Stickle Brick razors? Duplo netbooks? We’re not sure where the ethics stand on designing mobile phones for kids, but let’s be honest it is quite cool. If a little gimmicky.
The by-product of a deal between LEGO and Paris-based phone company Alcatel, the LEGO Phone is another in the ever-growing-line of brick-based products – MP3 players and we’ve seen the LEGO camera already.
So why on Earth would you want to get a LEGO phone? Well, you can change the fascias as you would connect LEGO bricks, for a start. Plus it’s brightly coloured like the kids’ toy.
Other than that, specs for the phone are still limited. We wouldn’t expect a touchscreen if we were you, though. To be honest, we doubt the likes of Nokia and Sony Ericsson are bricking it (Ha ha, HA) at the prospect of a LEGO phone. We’ll get our coats…
