2eleven delivers sexy foosball

January 23, 2009 by Insider Staff

2eleven Foosball TableWant sexy football? How about sexy foosball? Because this foosball table from 2eleven is exactly that – a sexy, hi-tech version of table football.

So what’s hi-tech about it? Well, firstly it comes with drink holders. An extremely important element of evolution in the world of table football, we think you’ll agree. Anyone who’s played the game in a pub will testify to spillage on the pitch being a major problem. Anyway, problem solved.

Next up, 2eleven’s kitted it out with two LED scoreboards, an automatic ball lift and LCD displays at either end of the table. Not, as we were hoping, for action replays of your pitch-length goals, but more for advertisements. That said, they seem to be located behind the spinner anyway, so anything that’s broadcast will be impossible to see behind your fat-bottomed mate.

Then there’s the styling. Okay, we’re not sure about the orange and silver, but we like the smooth curves. It may be hi-tech, but it’s still undeniably table football, with the spinny poles extending out of either flank of the table, and little “footballer” cruelly dismembered and stuck to said poles. Just remember – no spinning allowed!
