Wii Fit
Looks like your New Year’s resolution to keep fit with Wii Fit is going strong. According to the latest UK games charts, Nintendo’s game for the fitness-obsessed is leading the way, with some other surprises making the top ten…

It’s only been about three weeks since the New Year, but Wii Fit tops the charts from World War II shooter and all-round explosion-athon, Call of Duty: World at War. The first new entry comes in at number three, and is EA and Pandemic’s Lord of the Rings: Conquest, showing the appeal of small men with large hairy feet never really dies.

The rest of the top ten is made up with the usual slew of footie games (FIFA 09), Italian plumber and blue hedgehog-related titles (Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games) and guitar-thrashing titles (Guitar Hero: World Tour), with the only other real surprise the return to the elite of Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training at number 10. It seems the British public just want to be healthy in mind and body in 2009. Now, let’s go and lock ourselves in a dark room to play some games. Here’s the full top ten…
