Nokia N97 names its price!
January 19, 2009 by Insider Staff
That’s right folks. Nokia’s named the price and release date for its forthcoming super-phone. The good news is you’ll only have to wait another two months to get your hands on the Nokia N97. The bad news is, it’ll cost a fairly whopping £479.
Some more good news is, though, it’s more than likely to be available on contract… with which networks, however, is still unknown. So what do you get for your cash, Flash? Well, amongst a host of hidden mobile talents that will rival the iPhone’s and upcoming Palm Pre’s, the Nokia N97 is in effect an amalgamation of all of Nokia’s other phones’ best bits. It’s got a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a five-megapixel camera, a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out from beneath the screen, and the piece de resistance – 32GB of memory that expands to a whopping 48GB via microSD card. Plus there’s SoLo software for social networking on the fly.
So, now you know what the shizzle is with the Nokia N97, but will you rush out and buy the Finnish firm’s flagship phone (how’s that for alliteration?), or will you wait for the Palm Pre? Hmm, decisions, decisions…
