The ultimate party gadgets
December 30, 2008 by Insider Staff

New Year’s parties can go one of two ways. Make sure your New Year’s party doesn’t blow chunks with these top party starters. From dancing robots and music games, to crazy cocktail mixers and foam machines…
1 Wunderbar Beer Chill Dispenser
Ah, beer. You can’t have a party without beer. Unless it’s a children’s party – then it would just be immoral. It’s never quite the same from a can though, no matter how many widgets you stick in there. Why not serve up your New Year’s guests some lovely chilled, draught beer from this mini beer dispenser, with five-litre keg. Just don’t overdo it, though…
2 Drill Blender
If Tom Cruise had one of these in the film Cocktail he’d have been the best bar man this side of Borstal. What is it? Well, the name gives it away really… it’s a drill that blends cocktails. Just put your ingredients in the “bottle”, stick it on the end of the drill and whizz away.
3 Mech-RC Robots
Robots are guaranteed to get your New Year party going. These little fellas have up to 100 different motions pre-installed, so they’ll still be busting out moves when you’re passed out on the dance floor.
4 Rock Band 2
Party + live band = success. Trust us. It doesn’t even have to be a good live band. Which is why Rock Band 2 is the perfect accompaniment to your evening. You on lead vocals, your girlfriend and best mate on guitars, and your dog on drums. If that’s not a recipe for success/disaster (delete as applicable), we don’t know what is.
5 The Foam Factory
Finally, it wouldn’t be a party if your living room didn’t resemble an over-flowing bath or washing machine. That’s right – foam. The ultimate party accessory. So say hello to our little friend: the Foam Factory – a foam gun that will have you doing Santa impersonations in less than three minutes!
