December 12, 2008 by Insider Staff
It may be well over three years old, but the Xbox 360 games console is still going strong, as a new report shows. A survey of British teenagers has found that Microsoft’s multimedia box is the number once choice console under the tree this Christmas – but there’s plenty of top exclusives on every system too.
The poll of 4,450 teens by virtual world Habbo found the Xbox 360 is the most in demand gadget. Of the 39 per cent who said they wanted a PC or console on the 25th, one fifth said they would opt for an Xbox, closely followed by Nintendo’s family friendly Wii, with Sony’s PlayStation 3 powerhouse lagging behind with just 15 per cent.
The news comes as no surprise following price cuts and a surge in 360 sales worldwide, but if you’re already made your choice out of the big three, don’t despair: there’s plenty of top notch games on every platform, and we’ve rounded up the AAA grade stocking fillers right here.
