Geek In A Box protects and serves your gadgets

Is your iPod iDying? laptop giving you lip? Throw away your warranties: the Geek Squad are coming to the rescue! This time, the friendly gadget mechanics are offering their services in a box – Geek In A Box – for a whole year, and it’ll fit fine in a technophobe’s stocking.

The packages are aimed at phone, laptop and computer owners and as well as offering 24 hour service advice if your gizmo tanks out, they also act as insurance policies for 365 days too, in case someone should walk off with precious electrical goods or even make costly 0900 calls with them.

The Geeks are well aware that when things go wrong, they often go spectacularly wrong, and with that in mind it’s insuring its own email support by providing free emergency modems for when the broadband’s on the blip – some even carry £50 worth of credit.

There are five different packages both on contract and pay as you go, ranging from £20 per annum to £9.99 a month for the royal treatment, so there’s something for everyone who can’t work iTunes in your life. Let’s just hope they don’t need it ever.
