Apple iPhone 3G goes PAYG!
December 5, 2008 by Insider Staff
At last! Apple has finally decided that we’re worthy of having the iPhone 3G without a contract!
The company has just announced that its hallowed multimedia phone has gone Pay as you Go, which means no more signing your life away on annoying long term contracts. Apple’s new PAYG mobile is available from O2 stores or online, with Apple charging £342.50 for the 8GB version and a whopping £391.45 for the 16GB version – but that one is available in black and white, so that’s okay then.
If you do go down this route for your Hallelujah handset you’ll have to use O2’s Pay & Go service, but you will get 12 months of unlimited web browsing via 3G and Wi-Fi. Awesome.
