Tech 21 protects your laptop with air

November 27, 2008 by Insider Staff

Tech 21 CAPS bagsLaptops are great for carrying around and working on the go, but anyone who’s ever dropped one and killed their hard drive will know how easy it is to write one off. A sturdy case is the most essential laptop accessory money can buy, and design company Tech 21’s come up with a novel way to protect your notebook on the move while looking stylish in the process.

The technology behind the range is Tech 21’s CAPS – or Compressed Air Protection System for those in the know. Drop your computer in the case, and air pressure is forced out through the tiny air release vents, to reduce impact. The range doesn’t trade style for substance though, with three different styles of case – leather-looking suitcase, women’s clutch and suave sleeve. Expect them on sale next month, starting from £29.99.
