Get chatting online with Wii Speak
November 25, 2008 by Insider Staff
The Nintendo Wii is family friendly enough as it is, but a new game console accessory is about to add voice commands to its motion sensing skills. Wii Speak is a VoIP microphone which will hook you up to chat with other gamers across the globe, and even let your order characters around in game..
Unlike Xbox Live headsets, it’s a long range soundbox, so everyone in the room will be able to natter away online when the Wii Speak channel goes live on December 5th. The first game with built-in Wii Speak functions, Animal Crossing: Let’s Go To The City, goes on sale the same day, and you’ll be able to pick them both up in the best bundle this side of a free house and car.
