Denon BDBlu-ray DVD players may have won the high-definition wars almost a year ago, but we’re still waiting for the premium players to enter the market. It’s almost over though now, with purveyor of crystal sound and vision Denon finally making its Blu-ray debut with the DVD-3800BD, and it’ll keep home cinephiles content for years to come.Top HD performance is a given, thanks to video processing from Silicon Optix Realta and HQV under the bonnet, so you’ll be able to savour every single pixel. That goes for your DVD catalogue too, with the DVD-3800BD offering upscaling all the way to 1080p. It’ll cost you of course – a cool £1,600 – but visuals simply won’t get better than this.
