Denon pushes premium home entertainment system on a budget

November 12, 2008 by Insider Staff

Denon Smart 102 SEAs home cinema systems go, Denon is sat on the top branch, producing speaker systems with crystal clarity, and diamond price tags. But budget belts are tightening, and the audiophiles have come up with the perfect set up for the economic down turn, packing more in for less – the Denon Smart 102 Special Edition.

The Denon Smart 102 system was already as close to hi-fi heaven as you could get, comprising of a Hi-Def upscaling DVD and CD player, two sparkly speakers and a teeth-rattling subwoofer. Now though, you can get a Denon iPod dock to take iTunes off your headphones and into the hi-fi, and speaker stands too, for a lower price than before. Around £700. A large bill, no doubt, but it’s the least pricey premium system you’ll ever see or hear.
