Sony Vaio Bond Z SeriesIf you’ve ever fancied yourself as a bit of a modern day James Bond, but with more responsibilities, you can now at least play secret agent via your computer in the form of Sony’s new Vaio Bond Z Series special edition laptop. International espionage never looked so sexy.

Sony has packed some impressive components under its hood, so even Q would approve. Despite weighing just 1.5Kg it packs a proper 2.5GHz Intel processor and oodles of RAM. Sony’s even managed to somehow squeeze a Blu-ray drive in there and a massive 128GB of shockproof solid state storage.

Going up against

Sony Vaio VGN-TZ21WN/B – It may lack the Bond affiliations, but this is still a feature packed powerful little laptop.

Acer Aspire One – For Bond on a budget, this swanky Acer will do the job during these credit crunch heavy times.

Toshiba Portege R500-124 – Despite being lightweight, this switch Tosh packs a decent size screen for espionage on the go.
