iPhone 3G

Yes, perhaps the worst kept secret in the history of mobile phones is finally here. Keeping everything that made the original great and adding super fast data, GPS and better battery life the iPhone 3G is everything everyone expected and more. If you’ve been holding off jumping into Apple’s mobile world then now’s the time to dive in.

With rumour and speculation reaching fever pitch in June, had Apple not had a speedy iPhone upgrade waiting in the wings then it may have had a riot on its hands.

The new model offers all the touchscreen goodness of its predecessor, but with brand spanking new software clothes and available from free it’s this summer’s must have.

Top talents
3G times three

This is one little phone that’s built to travel, capable of tapping into that super fast 3G network wherever you are in the world thanks to tri-band support.

GPS to go
It now knows exactly where you are, even if you don’t, so it can pinpoint your location without having to do a best guess based on mobile signal, Wi-Fi coverage and wind direction.

Soft touch
Apple has left well alone and kept all the great stuff that made the original so appealing – like the seamless touch interface – so it can do everything the old one can do plus more.
