PSPgo gets downloadable launch bonanza!

September 29, 2009 by Insider Staff

psp-minis.jpgThe PSPgo finally hit shelves this week. And Sony has been bigging up its tiny handheld’s special powers, saying there’ll be a whacking 16,000 downloadable extras from 1 October. So what exactly will you be snagging come Thursday morning? Keep reading and we’ll let you know.

Sony says it’s going to load the PlayStation Store up with thousands of goodies for the launch of the PSPgo. The gaming colossus says there’ll be 225 games up for grabs, including PSP Minis, old–school classics and PSN exclusives.

There’ll be a massive 13,000 TV episodes and 2,300 movies to chow down on too. Surely that’s plenty to convince punters to slap down £225 for the PSPgo.

For now, these figures cover off the US, but we’re chasing SCEE for a breakdown of what you can expect here in the UK. Stay tuned for updates as we get them.
