MSI X400 is one skinny lappie

September 22, 2009 by Insider Staff

msiMSI just outed another addition to its X-Slim line, the MSI X400 laptop. As you’d expect, it’s a rake thin 14-incher but with enough bumph and battery under the bonnet so see you through the working day. Read on for all the info.

Sure, the MSI X-Slim X600 has only just gone on sale, but if you’re looking for something slightly less wide to shove in your manbag, the MSI X400 is hot on its heels.

For just £499, the MSI X400 packs in a 320GB HDD and an Intel SU2700 processors, all inside a shell that tapers down to just 9mm at its thinnest.

Pay a bit more upfront though and you can get a better specced MSI X400, complete with a bundled optical drive, HDMI port (though it’ll play 720p viddy on its own screen), 2 gigs of RAM and a 500GB HDD.

Not a bad package for anyone looking for something MacBook Air-esque at under half the price. The MSI X400 joins its brothers on shop shelves this month.
