Guitar Hero 5 drum kit delayed!

August 21, 2009 by Insider Staff

Guitar-Hero-5-drumsOh, that Guitar Hero 5 drum kit we peeped last month? You assumed that because it had Guitar Hero 5 in the name, it’d be coming out with the game, right? Right? Wrong, we’ve learned. Read on to see when you’ll be able to pick one up.

We got a first play of Guitar Hero 5, and while we were impressed with the party game antics, we were dismayed to see that the new drum kit doing the rounds online last month was nowhere to be seen. Instead the new Guitar Hero drum kit will debut with Band Hero later on this year – around November time.

Now granted, the only real improvement are rounder cymbals on the top and it folds up for carrying, but still, it feels a little bit like DJ Hero arriving without a turntable, wouldn’t you say? We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as the Guitar Hero 5 / Band Hero drum kit gets official in Blighty.
