Super Monkey Ball gets release date

Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll for the Wii rolled into the limelight last week, but if you were wondering when you’d be able to get your hands – and feet – on a copy, then you’re in the right place. Sega’s let slip when we’ll be seeing the motion sensing return of Aiai, Gongon, Baby and all, so grab your calendar and read on.
Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll, which sees you rolling through levels by shifting your weight on the Wii Balance Board that originally came bundled with Wii Fit, was stamped with a vague “early 2010? release window on unveiling. But a Sega rep told us Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll was expected out in February, which narrows things down.

Of course, game development being game development, don’t expect this to be cast iron at any rate, but we’re optimistic we’ll be wobbling around in our living rooms before the Easter bunny pays his annual visit.
