Asus Eee PC 1101HA incoming!
June 16, 2009 by Insider Staff
The 11.6-inch Eee PC 1101HA will hit European shelves this month, offering almost all the portability of super-slim Seashell netbooks with a bigger keyboard for blasting out emails on the go.
Asus boss Jerry Shen said in May that an 11.6-inch Eee PC would be out shortly, and slightly later than promised, here we’ve got the Eee PC 1101HA. Netbook Italia reports that the Eee PC 1101HA will ship across the continent from the end of the month, for €399 (£340).
It’s part of the new Eee PC Seashell family, and packs in a 1.33GHz Atom processor plus 1GB of RAM, a 160GB HDD and Windows XP. The real selling point is the size though, with the 11.6-inch Eee PC 1101HA balancing neatly on the fine line between portability and usability.
We’re chasing Asus for confirmation of a UK launch, but it looks like the Eee PC 1101HA should wash up on shore around the same time as the bigger battery 1005HA.
