Ultimate ear goggles designed by Dr Dre and friends
April 24, 2008 by Insider Staff
The brainchild of Dr Dre and Interscope’s Jimmy Lovine, Monster’s Beats headphones are a serious pair of performance ear goggles.
These cool cans have been in Monster’s in-tray for two years, while music moguls Dre and Lovine helped the cable giant construct the perfect pair of musical earmuffs.
Expected to be price-gunned at around the £200 mark, these are high-end soundsmiths designed to spew brilliantly rich sonics. As Dre puts it, “People are finally going to hear [the music] the way they should – the way I do”.
Top Talents
Monster mash – Monster is renowned for its high-end hi-fi smarts, and its latest pair of headphones promises to raise the bar when it comes to brain melting cans.
Love for the streets – As a hugely successful record producer, Dr. Dre has an ear for the right sound and he’s poured his heart into this project, so we expect serious results.
Ear studios – Designed for the studio, these phones should be super-accurate and popular with musicians, but with Dre’s cred attached, we suspect we’ll see a lot on the train too.
