Asus Eee PC 1008HA gets priced!

We’ve just got word that the Asus Eee PC 1008HA – essentially Asus’ take on the MacBook Air – is now available for pre-order on a couple of UK websites, although a firm release date is still to be confirmed.

Both Amazon and Laptops Direct have the Asus Eee PC 1008HA available to order (priced at £379.50 and £399.97 respectively), with Amazon listing the ultra-skinny 10-inch netbook as “usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months”.

Amazon’s version of the Asus Eee PC 1008HA is Midnight Blue, while the Laptops Direct edition is classic Eee PC white. Specification wise, both models have the obligatory Intel Atom N280 processor, 1GB of memory, 160GB hard disk, 10-inch 1024 x 600 screen, Windows XP Home, 2.1 ECR Bluetooth and a 1.3MP webcam.
