Selfridges unveil limited edition BlackBerry Bold

April 28, 2009 by Insider Staff

Selfridges BlackBerry BoldOoh, check out this snazzy limited edition BlackBerry Bold that’s being released by Selfridges as a way of celebrating its 100th birthday this year.

Selfridges is actually releasing ten limited edition BlackBerry Bold phones, replacing the Bold’s leather backside in a Pantone 109 yellow – or as anyone outside of Dulux might say – an extremely vibrant yellow. There’s even a splash of yellow on the keypad as well. And to make the owners feel even more special, each handset has been marked with its own number.

So how much does Selfridges expect for each of these rare BlackBerry Bolds? An eye-wincing £1,000. Whether you can justify spending a grand on a BlackBerry Bold in this current climate is up to you. We’re probably just gonna pick up some Dulux paint and take our key to our old Bold. Practically the same thing, no?
