Fallout 3 DLC available as standard pack

April 27, 2009 by Insider Staff

Fallout 3 DLCFallout 3 fans rejoice. If you’re not au fait with downloading all the new DLC, then no worries, because in their infinite wisdom, Bethesda has decided to release the DLC content as a standard retail pack, without actually changing the name.

Called Fallout 3: Downloadable Content Bundle (bizarrely) it’ll feature the first two bits of downloadble content for the hugely popular post-apocalyptic game. That’s Fallout 3: Opeartion: Anchorage and Fallout 3: The Pitt. Which, incidentally, has nothing to do with brad Pitt.

Available from May 29, Amazon has it priced at £14.99 for Xbox 360 and PC. This is the third bit of Fallout news in the last week, following on from the snippets that Fallout: New Vegas and a third bit of downloadable content Fallout 3: Broken Steel are incoming.

Why Bethesda didn’t include the May 5 release of Broken Steel in the Bundle is anyone’s guess. But we suppose download-luddites will be happy with what they’re getting.
