Android MSI Wind netbook incoming?
April 24, 2009 by Insider Staff
It looks like there might be an Android-powered MSI Wind netbook gusting into our laps as soon as June, according to the latest reports from our gadget news hounds in the Far East.
If these rumours are to be believed then we could expect to see an Android MSI netbook on show at the Computex trade show in just under two months time. According to DigiTimes MSI “plans to showcase an Android-based netbook” at the convention. All fingers point to an Android-based Wind netbook, unless MSI pulls a fast one and introduces a totally new brand.
Whether this happens remains to be seen, as MSI failed to comment on the rumours. That said, we wouldn’t be surprised to see an MSI Android netbook, as there have been all sorts of whispers that Asus is readying an Android Eee PC. Looks like Androids are set to be the latest weapon in the netbook war!
