Toshiba Mini NB200 announced!
April 23, 2009 by Insider Staff
Introducing the imaginatively named Toshiba Mini NB200. It appears, if you’re in any doubt as to what to call your new netbook, just stick the word ‘mini’ in between the manufacturer make and model number and settle for that. Unimaginative name aside, the Toshiba Mini NB200 is actually quite an imaginative little netbook.
The Toshiba Mini NB200’s ten-inch screen is just about the right side of being too small, while the keyboard has isolated keys so it’s an absolute delight for your fingers and won’t leave your digits feeling like broom handles trying to hit a calculator.
On the inside you’ll find the usual Intel Atom processor, but you can beef it up to 1.66GHz if you fancy it. There’s also 160GB of storage space and, best of all, the option of a nine cell battery that will offer up to nine hours of battery life – enough juice to power your netbook long enough for your delayed journey on the delayed 9:00am from Lewisham to London Bridge.
Finishing up the rest of the netbook spec is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, the option to upgrade to 3G, and Toshiba’s ‘Sleep and Charge’ tech that allows you to charge your gadgets even when the netbook is closed. And all this for the bargain price of £319. Roll on May. Because that’s when it goes on sale. You see?
