Samsung S8000 gets Android!

It’s about time Samsung. The Korean company has just announced its first Android phone: the Samsung S8000. And it’s a little stunner in its own right, boasting an OLED screen, and the fabled Google OS.

It seems like barely a day goes by nowadays without a new Android phone being announced, so it’s important for them to have an outstanding feature. The Samsung S8000’s is undoubtedly that 16 million colour OLED screen. The beauty of OLED is that it uses less power than normal mobile screens, which means that the battery should ultimately run longer.

The S8000 will come with 2GB of internal storage, but if that’s not enough to hold all your Enrique Iglesias songs then you can always invest in a microSD card for extra storage. And don’t worry about having to get an adaptor for your headphones. This has a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is another boon over some Android phones we could name.

There’s not been a release date announced yet, but as soon as Samsung announces it, you’ll be the first to know. Trust us. We’re the gadget doctors.
